Tory Youth Chairman in Brussels

Lydia Smith, who will shortly be going to Nottingham Trent University to study politics, and is Chairman of Conservative Future for Northants, Leics and Rutland, has visited Nottinghamshire’s Conservative MEP Roger Helmer, in the European Parliament in Brussels.
Lydia, who will be starting a politics course at Nottingham Trent University in October accepted Mr Helmer’s invitation to visit Brussels on September 12th/13th to see some real politics at first hand.
After their meeting, Mr Helmer said
"It is a special privilege of my job to be able to work with young people and to help them engage with the political process. I'm sure that Lydia will have a great future in politics".
