MEP backs Cllr Bullock in local elections

With less than a week until the local elections Roger Helmer MEP has joined Councillor Jonathan Bullock of Queen Eleanor and Buccleuch ward for a day of canvassing in Geddington.

Councillor Bullock, who was previously a candidate in the 2004 European elections, is standing in the ward he currently holds for the Conservative Party in the Kettering Borough Council election

Mr Helmer and Councillor Bullock had a chance to speak to local residents and explain the upcoming referendum, as well as discuss local issues such as the need for the A43 bypass . Speaking beside the Queen Eleanor Cross in Geddington,

Mr Helmer said:

"I've known Jonathan since we ran side-by-side in the 2004 euro-elections, and I know what a fine job he is doing for the people of Geddington. I am delighted to have the opportunity of supporting him today".

Queen Eleanor and Buccleauch ward is situated in Mr Helmer’s East Midlands constituency.
